Émile Parisien is a French clarinetist and composer recognized for his innovative approach to jazz, often blending traditional jazz idioms with elements of contemporary classical music, electronic soundscapes, and influences from his Romani heritage. His musical style is characterized by virtuosic improvisation, rhythmic complexity, and a distinctive tone. He frequently leads ensembles exploring diverse sonic territories, collaborating with musicians across genres.

The concert is scheduled to take place at the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) in Lisbon, Portugal on November 21, 2026. CCB is a prominent arts centre inaugurated in 1993 as part of the celebrations surrounding Lisbon’s year as European Capital of Culture. Designed by architect Vittorio Gregotti, it was built on the former site of the Jerónimos Monastery’s gardens and incorporates architectural references to Portugal’s maritime past.

The complex houses several performance spaces including a main concert hall (Sala Grande), a smaller auditorium (Sala pequena Auditório), exhibition areas and gardens. It hosts a wide range of artistic disciplines including music, dance, theatre, opera and visual arts.
