Malmö Symfoniorkester (Malmö Symphony Orchestra) is a professional orchestra with a broad repertoire spanning classical, romantic, and contemporary works. The concert on September 5th, 2026 will be held at Malmö Live Konserthus. This modern concert hall opened in 2015 and is a central component of the larger Malmö Live complex, which also includes a hotel and conference centre. Designed by the architectural firm Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, Malmö Live Konserthus is celebrated for its acoustics, particularly within its main hall which boasts adjustable elements to optimize sound for various ensemble sizes and musical genres.

The building’s design intentionally integrates with the surrounding cityscape and aims to be a welcoming public space. It replaced the older Malmö Concert Hall as the city’s primary venue for orchestral music and other large-scale performances, significantly enhancing Malmö’s cultural infrastructure. The hall's construction incorporated sustainable building practices reflecting Sweden's environmental priorities.
