His career includes significant contributions as a member of Chick Corea’s Return to Forever in the 1970s, alongside extensive collaborations with artists like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Jaco Pastorius. White’s solo work demonstrates a distinctive style characterized by complex rhythms, innovative percussion techniques, and a blend of acoustic and electronic sounds. The Beachland Ballroom, located in East Cleveland, Ohio, is a historic venue with roots tracing back to 1900. Originally opening as a social hall for German immigrants, it transitioned through various uses including a roller rink and dance hall before becoming a dedicated music venue in the 1970s. The Ballroom is recognized for its intimate atmosphere and has hosted a diverse range of national and international acts across multiple genres – rock, blues, country, and jazz among them. It's comprised of two distinct spaces: the main Ballroom and the smaller Sancho’s Patio which frequently features more localized performances.
