Classical Concerts in Luxembourg

Experience Lang Lang live on April 21st

Lang Lang will perform at the Philharmonie Luxembourg on April 21, 2027. Lang Lang is internationally recognized for his virtuosic piano playing and emotive interpretations of classical repertoire. His style often blends technical brilliance with a demonstrative performance manner, aiming to connect with audiences on an emotional level. He frequently champions both established composers like Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff, alongside contemporary works and crossover projects incorporating jazz and pop influences.

The Philharmonie Luxembourg, inaugurated in 2005, serves as Luxembourg’s national concert hall. Designed by Paul Wiltgen Architectes and commissioned by the City of Luxembourg, it is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and modern architectural design. The Grande Salle, the main concert space where Lang Lang will appear, accommodates approximately 1,500 spectators and is specifically engineered to support a diverse range of musical genres – from orchestral performances to solo recitals. The building also houses a smaller chamber music hall. It quickly became a central hub for musical activity in the region, hosting numerous international orchestras, soloists and ensembles annually and contributing significantly to Luxembourg's cultural landscape. It is considered one of Europe’s leading concert halls.
