Luxembourg is a small European country with a vibrant music culture. It has a rich history of musical genres, ranging from classical and jazz to ambient and world music. The country is home to many renowned venues, such as the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette and the Philharmonie Luxembourg in Luxembourg City. These venues host some of the biggest international acts, as well as local artists.

The annual Jazz Rallye Luxembourg is one of the most popular events in the country, drawing thousands of visitors each year. It features performances by both established and up-and-coming jazz musicians from around the world. Other notable events include Les Nuits de la Guitare, which celebrates guitar music from different genres; and Les Ardentes, an annual rock festival held in Liege, Belgium.

Classical music also has a long tradition in Luxembourg. The Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg hosts performances by leading orchestras from all over Europe and beyond. The city also hosts a number of smaller classical music festivals throughout the year.

World music is also popular in Luxembourg, particularly African and Latin American styles. Several festivals are held annually to celebrate this genre, such as AfroLatino Festival and Fiesta Mundial (World Party). These events feature performances by renowned world musicians from around the globe.

In recent years, Luxembourg has become an important player on the international music scene.
