Lambchop will perform at The Helix in Dublin, Ireland on February 21, 2027. The band, originating from Nashville, Tennessee, is known for its distinctive blend of country, soul, and electronic music. Often categorized as slowcore or alternative country, Lambchop’s sound is characterized by Kurt Wagner’s often-monotone vocals layered over lush arrangements featuring strings, horns, and subtle electronic textures. Formed in the late 1980s, they gained prominence in the 1990s with albums like *Up With People* and *Thriller*. Their music frequently explores themes of loneliness, longing and Americana.

The Helix is a performing arts complex located on the campus of Dublin City University (DCU). Opened in 2010, it serves as a significant cultural venue for the north of Dublin city and beyond. The complex houses two main venues: a 1,200-seat auditorium and a smaller studio theatre. Designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects, The Helix aims to provide a broad range of performances including music concerts, theatre productions, dance performances and conferences. It is operated by DCU and hosts both national and international acts.
