KNOBIL is scheduled to perform at the Indian Pavilion in Courbevoie, France on September 26, 2026. KNOBIL’s musical style blends elements of electronic music with influences from traditional Indian classical and folk music, often incorporating live instrumentation alongside synthesized sounds. Their compositions frequently feature intricate melodic structures and rhythmic patterns characteristic of Hindustani classical music, reimagined within a contemporary electronic framework.

The Indian Pavilion, officially known as the Pavillon Indien, is a significant architectural landmark in La Défense, the business district of Courbevoie. Constructed for the 1989 Universal Exposition held in Paris, it was designed by architect Francis Bourriez and initially represented India at the event. Following the exposition, it was dismantled and reconstructed in Courbevoie in 2003.

The structure is notable for its unique design inspired by Buddhist stupas and its use of sandstone sourced from Rajasthan, India. Today, it functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting cultural events, exhibitions and corporate functions; maintaining its role as a symbol of Indo-French cultural exchange. The pavilion's acoustics are considered well-suited for musical performances due to its enclosed circular form and stone construction.
