L'Auditori, opened in 2003, serves as Barcelona’s main concert hall and is home to the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC). Designed by Rafael Moneo, the building is notable for its modern architectural style and acoustics. It features two main halls: the Sala Sinfónica, which holds approximately 2,200 people and is designed specifically for symphonic music; and the Sala de Cambra, a smaller hall suited for chamber music and other performances. L'Auditori was conceived as part of a larger urban renewal project aimed at revitalizing the Poblenou district.
