Seong-Jin Cho, the South Korean classical pianist who rose to international prominence after winning the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition, will perform at L'Auditori in Barcelona on November 14, 2026. Cho is recognized for his poetic and nuanced interpretations, particularly of Romantic composers like Chopin and Debussy, alongside a technically assured and deeply considered approach to diverse repertoire including Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff. His playing is often described as possessing both a delicate sensitivity and powerful control.

L'Auditori de Barcelona, inaugurated in 1999, serves as the main concert hall for the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC). Designed by Rafael Moneo, the building is notable for its modernist architecture and its prominent location in the city’s cultural district. The main hall, known as the Sala Sinfónica, boasts exceptional acoustics designed to accommodate a wide range of musical performances.
