Kenny Garrett, an American alto saxophonist, will perform at New Morning in Paris, France on July 24, 2026. Garrett’s musical style is deeply rooted in the post-bop tradition, heavily influenced by his mentor, Charlie Parker, but expands upon it with elements of funk, Latin rhythms, and a distinctive vocalized approach to his saxophone playing. He is known for his virtuosic technique, complex improvisations, and emotionally charged performances. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous jazz luminaries including Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and McCoy Tyner.

New Morning is a renowned jazz club located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Established in 1982 by Pierre-Alain Chollet, it quickly became a central hub for both established international jazz artists and emerging French talent.
