The Howard Assembly Room is a restored music hall located within the Grade I listed Grand Theatre in Leeds. Originally opened in 1878 as a temperance hall – offering entertainment without alcohol – it served various functions throughout its history, including a magistrates' court and storage space. A significant restoration project completed in 2009 returned the room to its former glory as a performance venue.

The space is known for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere, seating approximately 300 people. It hosts a diverse program of musical performances, including classical, jazz, contemporary and world music, alongside theatrical productions and other events. The room retains many of its original architectural features, contributing to its unique character and historical significance within the city of Leeds.
