Il Pomo d'Oro, an Italian period instrument ensemble, will perform at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm on August 27, 2026. Berwaldhallen is Stockholm’s primary concert hall dedicated to classical music. Opened in 1979, it is named after Swedish composer Franz Berwald. The hall is renowned for its excellent acoustics, achieved through a vineyard-style design where the audience surrounds the orchestra on three sides. This configuration fosters a sense of intimacy and direct connection between performers and listeners. It is home to the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir, and hosts a wide range of national and international musical ensembles throughout the year.
