The hall’s design incorporates a “shoe box” shape—a configuration favoured for its acoustic properties—and features extensive use of maple wood throughout the interior. It serves as the primary performance space for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and hosts a diverse range of musical genres including classical, jazz, and world music performances.
