The Gringolts Quartet will perform at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on August 24, 2026. The quartet is known for its intensely expressive and vibrant performances, often characterized by a bold and individual approach to the string quartet repertoire. They frequently explore connections between classical music and other art forms, incorporating a dynamic range and textural clarity into their interpretations. Formed in 1995, the quartet comprises Pavel Gringolts, Irina Gringolts, Dmitry Gringolts and Vladimir Jalchin.

The Queen’s Hall is a significant concert venue in Edinburgh, Scotland. Opened in 1979 following a public campaign to save the former Free High Church building from demolition, it was converted into a performance space while retaining many of its original architectural features. The building itself dates back to 1825 and showcases neo-classical design. It's renowned for its excellent acoustics and has hosted a diverse range of performances including classical music, jazz, folk, world music, and theatrical productions. The hall holds approximately 900 seats and plays a key role in Edinburgh’s cultural landscape, particularly during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe each August.
