Euge Groove, born Stephen Eugene Grove, is a contemporary jazz saxophonist known for his smooth jazz and quiet storm compositions. His music blends traditional jazz harmonies with elements of R&B, funk, and gospel, often featuring melodic saxophone lines and sophisticated arrangements. He gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing several albums that charted on the Billboard jazz charts.

Yoshi's Oakland is a renowned jazz club located in Oakland, California. Originally founded in 1977 by Yoshiaki “Yoshi” Shibuya, it quickly became a cornerstone of the Bay Area’s vibrant jazz scene. The club has hosted numerous legendary performers throughout its history including Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, and Herbie Hancock. Following a relocation and rebuild after a fire in 2012, Yoshi’s currently operates within the Jack London Square area. It’s recognized for its intimate setting and high-quality sound system contributing to an immersive experience for both artists and audiences.
