Euge Groove (born Steven Eugene Grove, July 26, 1962) is an American smooth jazz saxophonist, songwriter, and producer. Beginning his professional career as a touring musician with Tower of Power in the early 1990s, Groove transitioned to a solo career in 1996 with the release of *Sailin’ High*. He quickly established himself as a prominent figure in contemporary jazz.
Groove’s sound blends traditional smooth jazz sensibilities with elements of funk, R&B, and gospel, characterized by his warm tenor saxophone tone and melodic improvisations. He's released over a dozen albums, including *Livin’ Just for Me* (1998), which featured the hit single “Just for Me,” and *Prime Time* (2005), reaching #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart.
Throughout his career, Euge Groove has collaborated with artists like Dave Koz, Rick Braun, and Jonathan Butler. He's consistently charted on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz charts with numerous singles and albums, earning him multiple radio play awards.
