Bill Frisell will perform at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, California on March 8, 2027. Frisell is a highly acclaimed American jazz guitarist known for his distinctive and atmospheric sound. The Guild Theatre originally opened in 1926 as a movie palace during the silent film era. Designed by Reid & Reid architects in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, it served as a prominent entertainment venue for the Peninsula community for decades. After falling into disrepair and closing in 1998, the theatre underwent a significant restoration project completed in late 2023. The renovation aimed to preserve its historical character while upgrading facilities for live performances. It now functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting concerts, film screenings and community events. The theatre has a capacity of approximately 450 seats.
