Their sound incorporates live instrumentation alongside samples and electronic production techniques, resulting in a high-energy, danceable style. Espace Carpeaux is a cultural venue located in the La Défense business district of Courbevoie, near Paris. Opened in 1986, it’s a multi-disciplinary space primarily dedicated to performing arts, including theatre, dance, and music. The venue is named after sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon’s work “Carpeaux”, a plaster cast of the bust of Paul Verlaine which is displayed within the building. It features a main hall with approximately 600 seats and a smaller studio space used for more intimate performances and rehearsals. Espace Carpeaux regularly hosts both national and international artists and serves as an important cultural hub for the local community.
