DR SymfoniOrkestret (the Danish National Symphony Orchestra) is renowned for its interpretations of both standard orchestral repertoire and contemporary compositions. Opened in 2009, DR Koncerthuset was designed by Jean Nouvel and is notable for its distinctive copper-clad exterior and exceptional acoustics. The building houses four separate halls: the Concert Hall (the largest), Studio 2, Studio 3, and the smaller Thorvaldsen Hall.
