Dr Jazz & the Cheshire Cats are scheduled to perform at The Tung Auditorium in Liverpool on November 14, 2026. Their performances frequently incorporate improvisation and audience interaction. They have been performing across the UK since their formation in the 1980s, building a reputation for lively shows and skilled musicianship.

The Tung Auditorium is a recently restored Edwardian theatre located within Liverpool’s Central Library. Originally opened in 1902 as part of the William Brown Street buildings, it underwent a significant £38 million refurbishment completed in 2023. The auditorium boasts ornate architectural features including a domed ceiling adorned with mosaics and detailed plasterwork. It's designed to provide excellent acoustics and sightlines, functioning as a multi-purpose space for orchestral performances, conferences, and other cultural events. The restoration aimed to reinstate many of the original features while incorporating modern technical capabilities. It is operated by Liverpool Philharmonic.
