Shez Raja is a British-Asian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends elements of jazz, electronica, and South Asian classical traditions. Often incorporating live looping and improvisation, his work features sitar alongside electronic soundscapes and driving rhythms. He has previously collaborated with artists across diverse genres including Nitin Sawhney and Talvin Singh, and released albums on labels like Ninja Tune.

Future Yard Cic is a music venue and creative space located in Birkenhead, Wirral, United Kingdom. Established in 2019, it operates as a community interest company (CIC), meaning its primary purpose is to benefit the local community rather than generate profit for shareholders. The venue focuses on showcasing emerging and established artists with an emphasis on innovative and forward-thinking music, spanning genres like post-punk, electronic, experimental and global sounds. It’s built within a repurposed former drill hall, retaining much of the building's original industrial character.
