The hall's design incorporates a “vineyard” style seating arrangement – inspired by the Berlin Philharmonie – which surrounds the stage on multiple levels to enhance sound distribution. It is home to the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and hosts performances by leading international orchestras and soloists.
