Dan Nimmer is a contemporary jazz pianist recognized for his deeply rooted style in the traditions of Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum, and George Shearing, while simultaneously forging his own distinct voice. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, located in Vienna, Virginia, is the only National Park dedicated to the performing arts. Established in 1971 following years of advocacy led by Catherine Butler Bellingrath, it operates as a non-profit organization under a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service. The venue is renowned for its outdoor Filene Center stage – an amphitheater seating approximately 3,000 patrons – and its smaller indoor Theater in the Woods.
