corto.alto, a German-Dutch musical duo consisting of Julia Fischer (violin) and Adriaan van Donselaar (cello), will perform at Lantaren Venster in Rotterdam on October 14, 2026. Lantaren Venster is a cultural center located in Rotterdam’s Kop van Zuid district, housed within a former lighthouse (“Lantaren” meaning lantern). Originally built in 1900, the current building complex dates largely from the 1980s following a significant renovation and expansion. It functions as a cinema, concert venue, and event space. Throughout its history it has hosted a diverse range of artistic programming including film festivals – notably the International Film Festival Rotterdam – live music performances spanning various genres, and theatrical productions.
