Usher Hall, opened in 1879, is a prominent concert venue in Edinburgh, Scotland. Designed by Robert Rowand Anderson, it’s recognised for its excellent acoustics and significant architectural presence. The hall was a gift to the city from Andrew Usher, a local brewer, intended to provide a space for public enjoyment of music and lectures. Throughout its history, Usher Hall has hosted a wide range of performances including classical concerts, orchestral events, choral works and popular music acts. It underwent major renovations completed in 2009 which enhanced its facilities while preserving its original character.
