Circuit des Yeux, the musical project of Haley Fohr, will perform at Gosforth Civic Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne on November 2nd, 2026. Fohr’s music is often described as experimental and draws from a wide range of influences including jazz, baroque pop, and avant-garde composition. Characterized by her distinctive, powerfully resonant contralto vocal style and often incorporating elements of drone and minimalist arrangements, her work explores themes of isolation, memory, and the human condition. She frequently utilizes complex harmonic structures and unconventional instrumentation.

Gosforth Civic Theatre is a restored art deco building originally opened in 1938 as a cinema and community space. Following periods of decline and closure, a significant refurbishment was completed in 2023, reopening it as a multi-purpose arts venue. The theatre now hosts a diverse program encompassing theatre productions, live music performances, film screenings and community events. The building retains many original art deco features while incorporating modern facilities. It operates as a key cultural hub for the North East region and aims to provide accessible arts experiences for local residents. The venue's capacity is approximately 300 seated or 450 standing.
