The Brigham Young University (BYU) Philharmonic Orchestra is scheduled to perform at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, United Kingdom on March 13, 2027. The BYU Philharmonic is comprised of student musicians from across a variety of academic disciplines within the university. Bridgewater Hall, opened in 1996, is Manchester’s international concert hall and a prominent venue for classical music performance. The hall replaced the Free Trade Hall as Manchester’s primary concert venue; the Free Trade Hall had hosted performances by significant orchestras and musicians since its opening in 1856 but was deemed inadequate for modern orchestral needs.
