The concert will take place at Église Saint-Matthieu in Colmar, France. This church, consecrated in 1365, represents a significant example of late Gothic architecture in the Alsace region. Originally a collegiate church associated with the Dominican Order, Saint-Matthieu underwent substantial renovations in the 19th century under the direction of architect Jean-Baptiste Schacre, resulting in Neo-Gothic additions while preserving core medieval elements. Its interior features notable stained glass windows dating from both the medieval period and the 19th century restoration, alongside intricate sculptural details. The church's acoustics are considered particularly well-suited for orchestral performances due to its spacious nave and resonant qualities.
