Experience Ben Palmer live on September 26th
Ben Palmer will be performing at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on September 26, 2026. Palmer is a British composer and orchestrator known for his cinematic and emotionally resonant instrumental music, often described as blending elements of post-rock, neo-classical, and ambient soundscapes. His work frequently features expansive arrangements and builds to powerful crescendos, drawing comparisons to artists like Max Richter and Ólafur Arnalds. He gained prominence through self-released albums and increasingly large-scale live performances with accompanying visuals.
The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (GRCH) opened in 1999 and is a landmark venue in the city centre. Designed by Page\Park Architects, it is renowned for its acoustics and striking glass façade. The hall’s main auditorium, the New Auditorium, seats 2,445 people and hosts a diverse programme including classical music, jazz, contemporary performances, and large-scale events.
GRCH replaced the city’s previous main concert hall which had been damaged by fire. It quickly established itself as a key cultural hub for Glasgow and Scotland, playing host to numerous internationally acclaimed orchestras and soloists.
