Banda Municipal de Barcelona will perform at L'Auditori in Barcelona, Spain on October 18, 2026. The Banda Municipal de Barcelona is a civic wind orchestra with a repertoire spanning from original compositions for band to transcriptions of orchestral works and popular Catalan music. Established in 1891, the band has a long tradition of contributing to Barcelona’s musical landscape and preserving its cultural heritage through performance and commissioning new works. Their style is broadly characterized by a blend of classical wind band traditions with distinctly Mediterranean and Catalan influences.

L'Auditori, opened in 1999, is Barcelona’s main concert hall complex. Designed by Rafael Moneo, it’s notable for its modern architectural style and acoustic quality. The complex comprises the Sala Sinfónica, home to the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona Nacional de Catalunya (OBC), as well as smaller halls used for chamber music and other performances. It was constructed as part of the urban renewal project for the Poblenou area, transforming a former industrial district into a vibrant cultural hub.
