Cankarjev dom (Cankar Hall) is Ljubljana’s largest convention and cultural center. Originally constructed between 1900 and 1908 based on plans by Ivan Vurnik and designed in the Art Nouveau style, it was officially opened in 1908. Named after the prominent Slovenian writer Ivan Cankar, the building has undergone several renovations while retaining its architectural heritage. It houses multiple halls, including the Šubic Hall known for orchestral performances, as well as exhibition spaces and other facilities.
