СОЮЗ-1 is a Belarusian post-punk/coldwave band formed in Minsk in 2016. Their music blends influences from early 80s post-punk, new wave, and darkwave, often featuring prominent basslines, atmospheric synthesizers, and emotionally resonant vocals primarily sung in Russian. The band has released several EPs and albums, gaining recognition within the international underground music scene for their melancholic soundscapes and energetic live performances. They are known for exploring themes of urban isolation, societal anxieties, and personal introspection within their lyrical content.

Kavka is a cultural center and concert venue located in the Zurenborg district of Antwerp, Belgium. Originally established as a squat in 1994, it transitioned into a legally recognized non-profit organization focused on providing space for alternative and independent artistic expression. Kavka hosts a diverse range of events including concerts (spanning genres like experimental music, punk, electronic and world music), exhibitions, film screenings, workshops and performances. The venue is characterized by its intimate atmosphere and commitment to supporting emerging artists alongside more established acts.
