De Roma is a historic concert venue located in Antwerp’s Borgerhout district. Originally constructed in 1928 as a cinema, it operated under that function for several decades before transitioning into a multi-purpose event space. It officially became a dedicated concert hall in 1991. The building is noted for its Art Deco architecture and intimate atmosphere, holding approximately 750 attendees for standing concerts and offering seated arrangements for smaller events. Throughout its history, De Roma has hosted a diverse range of national and international artists spanning various genres including indie, rock, pop and world music; becoming a significant cultural hub within the city. It underwent renovations in 2016 to improve facilities while preserving its historical character.
