The Philharmonie Berlin, inaugurated in 1963, is considered one of the world’s leading concert halls renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Designed by Hans Scharoun, its asymmetrical, tent-like structure was revolutionary for its time and deliberately eschewed traditional shoebox hall designs. The hall’s interior features a distinctive golden hue and was conceived to foster a direct connection between performers and audience.
