Numerous internationally recognized artists have played at La Cave throughout its history including Memphis Slim, Champion Jack Dupree and Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.

The venue maintains a relatively intimate setting – holding approximately 150 people – fostering a close connection between performers and audience members. It's known for its dedication to showcasing authentic American roots music while also supporting contemporary artists within those genres. La Cave underwent renovations in the early 2010s but has retained its historical character and commitment to live performance.
