Widespread Panic will perform at The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 25, 2026. The band is known for their blend of Southern rock, blues, psychedelia, and jazz improvisation. Formed in Athens, Georgia in 1986, Widespread Panic has cultivated a dedicated following through extensive touring and a largely improvisational live performance style. Their musical approach often features extended jams and incorporates elements of diverse genres.

The Riverside Theater originally opened in 1927 as a Vaudeville house and movie palace. Designed by architects Holabird & Root, the venue showcases a Spanish Baroque architectural style with ornate plasterwork and decorative detailing. Throughout its history, it functioned primarily as a cinema before undergoing a significant restoration completed in 2019.

The restored theater now operates as a multi-purpose performance venue hosting concerts, Broadway shows, comedy acts, and other live events. It’s recognized for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere despite its relatively large capacity of approximately 2,400 seats. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places acknowledging its cultural significance to Milwaukee's entertainment landscape.
