we are ALVA is scheduled to perform at Museumsbar in Lahr, Germany on August 6, 2026. The band crafts a distinctive sound often described as darkwave, blending elements of post-punk, synth-pop and industrial music. Their compositions frequently feature atmospheric textures, driving basslines, and introspective lyrical themes. Formed in 2018, we are ALVA has released several albums and EPs, gaining recognition within the European darkwave scene for their energetic live performances and emotionally resonant music.

Museumsbar is a well-established venue located within the historical context of Lahr’s former district court building. Originally constructed in the late 19th century, the building was renovated and repurposed, with Museumsbar opening its doors in 2013. It functions as both a bar and a cultural event space dedicated to promoting regional artists and diverse musical genres. The bar is known for its intimate atmosphere and commitment to showcasing live music within a unique architectural setting. It regularly hosts concerts spanning rock, jazz, blues and electronic music styles alongside art exhibitions and other cultural events contributing to Lahr’s local arts scene.
