Experience Max Raabe live on May 9th
Max Raabe will be performing at the SWT-Arena in Trier, Germany on May 9th, 2027. Raabe is a German singer and entertainer known for performing songs from the Weimar era of the 1920s and 1930s in a remarkably authentic style. His performances often feature arrangements reminiscent of the big band and cabaret music popular during that period, though his repertoire also includes original compositions written in a similar vein. He is accompanied by his band, Palast Orchester, which contributes significantly to the vintage aesthetic.
The SWT-Arena, originally named Arena Trier, is a multi-functional event venue located in Trier. Opened in 2006, it primarily serves as the home ground for the Trier Gladiators handball team. The arena has a capacity of approximately 6,200 spectators for handball matches but can accommodate up to 7,500 for concerts and other events through adaptable seating configurations. It’s designed to host a variety of indoor sporting events, concerts, trade fairs and shows. The arena underwent a naming rights change to SWT-Arena following sponsorship agreements with Sparkasse Trier.
