TOS is scheduled to perform at Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam, Netherlands on August 15, 2026. TOS creates music generally categorized as progressive breaks, often incorporating elements of drum and bass, trance, and experimental electronic music. Their sound is characterized by complex rhythmic structures, atmospheric textures, and a focus on detailed sound design. The project began in the late 1990s as a collaboration between several Dutch artists, evolving over time with varying core members while maintaining a consistent stylistic approach.

Artis Royal Zoo, officially Koninklijke Diergaarde Artis Magona, is one of Europe’s oldest zoos and dates back to 1838. Founded by Gerard van den Bosch, it originally aimed to promote knowledge of natural history. Beyond its animal collections – encompassing mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates – Artis features a botanical garden containing a diverse range of plant species. The zoo’s architecture includes several historical buildings designed by renowned architects like Cuypers who also designed Amsterdam Central Station. It operates as a private institution dedicated to nature conservation and education alongside its function as a public attraction. The location within the Plantage neighborhood provides a unique urban oasis setting for events.
