Mogwai, the Scottish post-rock band formed in 1995, will be performing at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Netherlands on November 10, 2026. The group is renowned for its largely instrumental compositions characterized by dynamic shifts in volume and texture, incorporating elements of ambient, electronic, and classical music alongside traditional rock instrumentation. Their sound typically builds from quiet, atmospheric passages to explosive, guitar-driven crescendos. Mogwai has released numerous critically acclaimed albums and contributed significantly to the development of the post-rock genre.

TivoliVredenburg is a prominent concert venue and cultural complex in Utrecht, Netherlands. Officially opened in 2007, it consolidated several existing venues including the historic Tivoli concert hall – which hosted performances by artists such as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan – and Vredenburg music centre. The complex features five halls of varying sizes: Ronda, Pandora, Oude Muziekzaal, Leeuwarden and Hertz. It’s designed to accommodate a wide range of musical genres and events; from pop and rock to jazz, classical music and dance.
