TOS will perform at Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam, Netherlands on August 1st, 2026. TOS is a Dutch progressive metal band, often categorized within the djent subgenre. Their music is characterized by complex polyrhythms, heavily distorted guitars, atmospheric soundscapes, and dynamic shifts between intense aggression and melodic passages. Formed in Groningen in 2005, the band has released several critically acclaimed albums known for their conceptual themes and intricate compositions.

Artis Royal Zoo (Natura Artis Magistra) is one of Europe’s oldest zoos and dates back to 1838. Originally conceived as a place for scientific research and education related to the natural world, it quickly evolved into a public attraction. The zoo grounds encompass a diverse collection of animals, an aquarium – the Artis-Aquarium – a planetarium, and various historical buildings including the landmark giraffe house designed by Johann Wilhelm van den Berg.

The venue itself offers a unique setting for musical performances due to its historical architecture and lush greenery. Concerts at Artis are relatively infrequent, making this event particularly noteworthy given the unusual combination of the band’s musical style and the zoo's environment.
