Toro y Moi, the musical project of Chaz Bear, will be performing at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on September 16, 2026. Toro y Moi’s sound is generally categorized as chillwave, though it has evolved over the years to incorporate elements of funk, psychedelia, R&B, and boogie. Initial recordings were largely electronic and sample-based, but later albums feature more live instrumentation and a broader range of influences. The project began releasing music in 2010 with the album *Causers of This*.

Radio City Music Hall first opened to the public on December 27, 1932, as a showcase for vaudeville performances. Designed in the Art Deco style by Edward Durell Stone and Donald Deskey, it is renowned for its opulent interior and exceptional acoustics. The venue is a large theatre with approximately 5,874 seats and is celebrated for hosting a diverse array of events beyond concerts, including the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes dance troupe. It has been designated as a New York City Landmark and placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
