Tobias Ringborg is a Swedish composer and organist known for his distinctly contemporary and often minimalist compositions, frequently exploring microtonal harmonies and extended techniques on the organ. His work often draws inspiration from both historical organ traditions and modern electronic music, resulting in a sound world that is both familiar and strikingly new. He is recognized for pushing the boundaries of what is conventionally expected from the instrument.

Allhelgonakyrkan (All Saints’ Church) in Stockholm is a notable example of Swedish functionalism, completed in 1966 by architect Peter Boberg. The church replaced an earlier wooden structure dating back to the 14th century, though retaining the name Allhelgonakyrkan which signifies its dedication to All Saints. Its architectural design emphasizes light and simplicity, with large windows and a focus on natural materials.

The church’s interior features a significant pipe organ built by Frobenius Organs, installed in 2003. This instrument, with its 71 stops, is considered particularly well-suited for a wide range of repertoire and has become a venue for numerous organ concerts featuring both established and emerging artists.
