Grieg Hall (Grieghallen) is Bergen's main concert hall and one of Norway’s most important cultural institutions. Opened in 1978, it is named after the celebrated Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, whose remains are located nearby at Troldhaugen. The hall boasts three main venues: the Grieg Hall main auditorium (capacity approximately 1,800), the smaller Studio Edvard Grieg (capacity approximately 200), and the smaller concert hall, Øvingshallen. It hosts a diverse range of performances including classical concerts, pop & rock shows, opera, ballet and conferences.
