The Tubs, a British post-punk and art-punk band formed in 2019, will be performing at Paradiso in Amsterdam on December 6th, 2026. Their music is characterized by angular guitar work, driving rhythms, and often sardonic, spoken-word vocals delivered by vocalist Owen Evans. Influences range from Wire and Gang of Four to more contemporary acts within the independent music scene. The band gained recognition for their energetic live performances and critically acclaimed releases including their debut album ‘Happy Birthday’ (2023).

Paradiso is a renowned concert venue located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, originally consecrated as a church in 1880. Throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s it became a focal point for counterculture movements and alternative gatherings. Officially opening as a music venue in 1968, it quickly established itself as a significant platform for both established international artists and emerging talent. The building retains much of its original ecclesiastical architecture, creating a unique atmosphere for performances.
