A38 is a well-known concert venue in Budapest situated on the Buda side of the Danube River, originally constructed as a shipbuilding hall. Transformed into a cultural space in the early 1990s, it quickly became central to Budapest’s alternative music scene. The building itself is notable for its industrial architecture and its history as a functioning part of the Ganz Shipyard. Over time A38 has hosted a diverse range of international artists spanning numerous genres including rock, electronic, world music and jazz.
