Experience The Cleveland Orchestra live on July 26th
The Cleveland Orchestra, renowned for its precision and tonal beauty, will perform at Blossom Music Center on July 26, 2026. The orchestra is historically celebrated for its string section’s distinctive sound – often described as “Cleveland Sound” – and a commitment to both standard repertoire and contemporary works. Under various esteemed music directors, including George Szell, Lorin Maazel, and Franz Welser-Möst, the ensemble has maintained a consistently high artistic standard and extensive recording history.
Blossom Music Center, located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is the summer home of The Cleveland Orchestra. Opened in 1968, it’s North America’s largest outdoor amphitheater for classical music. Designed by Peter Eisenman and Walter Gropius, the pavilion’s modernist architecture integrates with the surrounding natural landscape of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The venue was conceived as a way to broaden access to orchestral music beyond the confines of its traditional Severance Hall home in Cleveland. Its open-air design presents unique acoustic considerations addressed through specialized sound reinforcement systems. Blossom regularly hosts performances beyond The Cleveland Orchestra's season including popular artists across various genres.
