Blossom Music Center, located in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland, Ohio, is a primarily outdoor amphitheater specifically designed for classical music performance. Opened in 1968, it was envisioned as a summer home for The Cleveland Orchestra, allowing performances to reach a wider audience beyond Severance Hall. Its unique architectural design incorporates natural surroundings – notably a wooded area – into the concert experience. The venue's shell is known for its acoustic properties tailored for orchestral sound projection. Blossom has hosted numerous internationally acclaimed artists alongside The Cleveland Orchestra over its history and remains a significant cultural landmark in Northeast Ohio. It can accommodate over 20,000 patrons.
