Thanya Iyer is a Canadian musician known for her genre-bending compositions, often described as experimental pop or art-pop. Her work integrates elements of jazz, electronic music, and contemporary classical, frequently featuring complex rhythmic structures and introspective lyrical content. Iyer’s albums explore themes of identity, displacement, and the search for meaning, delivered with a distinctive vocal style and layered instrumentation. She has released several critically acclaimed albums including “Do You Know Who You Are?” and “Kindness & Mercy”.

Théâtre Rialto, located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, opened in 1926 as a cinema. Originally designed by architect Joseph-Alcide Picard in the Art Deco style, it quickly became a prominent entertainment venue in the city. Over its history, the Rialto transitioned from primarily showing films to hosting live performances including concerts, theatrical productions and events. Significant renovations occurred in 2017 restoring many of its original architectural features while upgrading technical capabilities. The theatre is recognized for its ornate interior design including detailed plasterwork and a grand lobby space. It currently operates as a multi-disciplinary performance space accommodating a variety of artistic expressions and has a seating capacity of approximately 980.
