Tedeschi Trucks Band is scheduled to perform at Ariake Arena in Koto City, Tokyo, Japan on November 18, 2026. The band, led by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, presents a distinctive sound rooted in blues, rock, and soul music. Their performances are characterized by extended improvisations, dual lead guitar work, and a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies and a twelve-piece ensemble featuring horns, strings and multiple percussionists. Formed in 2010, the band has garnered critical acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards for their studio albums and live recordings.

Ariake Arena, opened in September 2020 as part of the facilities constructed for the 2020 Summer Olympics (held in 2021), is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in the Ariake area of Koto City. It’s designed to host a variety of events including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and concerts. The arena boasts a capacity of approximately 15,000 spectators for concerts and features a flexible seating configuration allowing it to adapt to different event requirements. Its construction incorporated sustainable design principles aiming for environmental responsibility.
